Pattern Labs
Reveal
A Pattern Lab is a structured diagnostic experience — part observation, part facilitation, part sense-making. We look at what’s actually happening in a team or organization, run it through the Blindspot Signal Framework, and surface the conditions that are creating drag that nobody has named yet.
What comes out of a Pattern Lab isn’t a report. It’s a clear read — shared language, named conditions, and enough visibility to decide what to build next.
Right for: teams that sense something is off but can’t name it. Organizations before a significant change. Leaders who’ve tried several things and want a clearer picture before trying something else.
Studio Sessions
Build
Studio Sessions are where the building happens. Once a team has a clear picture of what’s limiting them, Studio Sessions create the structures, language, frameworks, and practices they need to operate differently — not just talk about operating differently.
Studio Sessions are hands-on and iterative. They can be one deep working day or a series of shorter engagements. The deliverable is always something the team owns and uses — not a slide deck they file away.
Right for: teams after a Pattern Lab, leaders building new norms with an existing team, organizations designing how they want to operate — not just what they want to achieve.
Activations
Sustain
Activations are what keep insight from becoming just another good conversation. They’re the ongoing touchpoints, tools, speaking engagements, and learning experiences that embed the work into how an organization actually operates — past the initial session, past the first month, past the point where most change efforts stall.
Activations can take many forms: keynotes that carry the framework into a broader audience, advisory relationships that extend the work over time, tools and resources that a team returns to, or experiences designed to bring new people into shared language the organization has already built.
Right for: organizations that have done the initial work and want to sustain it. Leaders preparing to bring framework thinking to a wider audience. Teams adding new members to existing culture.
How We Work Together
We believe every engagement should begin with a conversation, not an exhaustive questionnaire. From there, many continue with a Pattern Lab, since clarity about what’s actually happening is what makes everything else useful. Studio Sessions follow when a team is ready to build; Activations extend the work when it needs to reach further or last longer.
Not every engagement uses all three modes — some call for one Pattern Lab and a clear next step, others for the fuller arc. If your challenge doesn’t fit neatly into these examples, that’s fine too. The shape depends on what you’re dealing with, and the first conversation is what helps clarify it.
